Final rites were held Tuesday for Mrs. Johanna Cassidy, who died last Saturday. The funeral was held from her late residence, and a requiem high mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul at St. Raphael’s Church.
Mrs. Cassidy, wife of the late Patrick Cassidy, came here from Ireland over 50 years ago, and she was a well known pioneer throughout this section. She had been a semi-invaled for two years, having suffered a paralytic stroke.
She is survived by Mrs. A. Marall, Margaret and James Sinnott and Hugh, Robert and William Cassidy. Her son-in-law, A. Marall, is connected with the Bank of Italy here.
Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
