ELIZABETH S. MILLZNER
62-year Belvedere resident
Elizabeth S. “Betty” Millzner of Belvedere died Friday, Jan. 12, 1990, at Marin General Hospital following a short illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Millzner was a native of New York. Her family moved to San Francisco when she was an infant and she lived most of her life in the Bay Area.
She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in English literature and was a 50-year member of the Sigma Kappa sorority.
She lived in Belvedere for 62 years.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Millzner served as a volunteer for St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco for 20 years. She was a member of the Sunnyhills Grape Festival Guild, the Marin Society of Artists and the San Francisco Yacht Club in Belvedere.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Palmero of Greenbrae; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Dr. Raymond Millzner, died earlier.
Private family services will be held. Her family asked that memorial contributions go to the American Cancer Society or to the Marin County Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
