Stricken with a heart attack as he was leaving his home in San Anselmo Tuesday morning, Jack Viso Wise, well known restauranteur, who was for many years a partner in the Orpheus Grill and who later operated the Blue Goose, died immediately.

Wise was a partner of Peter Vuich in the Orpheum for a long period, and last year, after they discontinued their connection, he bought the Blue Goose, and he as operated it since. He was one of the first developers of the Westland Park Tract.

Wise, who was born in Servia 43 years ago, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Consuelo Wise, and eight children – Jack Jr., Marguerita, Myrtle, Ann, Dorothy, Catherine, Martin and Peter, the two latter twins of four years.

For the repose of his soul a resulem (sic) mass was sung at St. Anselm’s church this morning at 9:30 o’clock. Interment was held at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
