PAUL R. MILLS
A funeral service for Paul Ross Mills, a 28-year resident of San Anselmo and former restaurant owner, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Keatonís Mortuary in San Rafael.
Mills died in his home t his morning after a long illness. He was 83.
A native of Oregon, Mills moved to Marin County in 1952 from San Francisco where he had owned the Clinton Cafeterias.
In Marin, Mills opened the former Woodlands Restaurant in Kentfield, now known as the Hungry House.
Mills was past president of the California State Restaurant Association and the San Francisco Restaurant Association.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; his daughter, Rosemary Mills of Mill Valley; his son, Paul Clinton Mills of Anchorage; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family prefers contributions to your favorite charity.

A death notice in the same paper adds that he was the uncle of Kenneth Mills of San Jose. Interment was in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
