HELEN EBER HOOL
Helen Eber Hool, 98, died Sunday in San Rafael after a short illness.
She was the widow of George A. Hool, construction engineer and author of several internationally known books on engineering. He died in 1950.
Mrs. Hool was born in Massachusetts. She had lived in a number of places, including Berkeley, Carmel, Tucson and Greece, where her husband was sent after World War II.
For the past year she had lived in Marin County, first in Novato and more recently in San Rafael.
She is survived by a daughter, Eleanor Robb of Portugal; two sons, Alan E. Hool of Mexico City and Sherman E. Hool of San Rafael; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be private.
