MARY ‘MAY’ BRADFORD
Mary “May” Bradford of Fairfax, 79, died Saturday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Bradford was born in Hayward. She moved to Marin about 17 years ago. She worked as a candy-maker for Blum’s in San Francisco for some 20 years before her retirement.
She is survived by four sons, James Faria of Clear Lake, Robert Faria of South San Francisco, William Faria of Fairfax and Richard Faria of Walnut Creek, and four grandchildren. She was the widow of Charles H. Bradford, who died about 15 years ago.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rita’s Church, San Anselmo. Burial will be in Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. today at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Her family asked that memorial contributions go to the Marin County Heart Association.
