A memorial service for Margaret Hutchinson Lawrence of Greenbrae will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Johnís Episcopal Church in Ross.
Mrs. Lawrence, 89, died Friday at a local convalescent hospital.
She was born in Nebraska. In 1910, she graduated from Grove City College in Pennsylvania, where she majored in piano and voice. After moving to San Francisco, she was one of the founding members of St. Francis Episcopal Church. She was active as a Gray Lady during World War II. She also was a charter member of the St. Francis Wood Musical Club and a long-standing member of the Century Club. For the past 10 yeas, she has resided at the Tamalpais Retirement Center in Greenbrae.
Her husband, Clifford S. Lawrence, died in 1954.
She is survived by three sons, Dr. C. Stanley Lawrence of Greenbrae, W. Ross H. Lawrence of Tacoma, Wash., and Warren Lawrence of Kent Woodlands, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the donorís favorite charity.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that inurnment was private. Keatonís Mortuary in San Rafael was in charge of arrangements.
