Boy Drowned Near Fallon
A sad accident occurred near Fallon last Sunday. A party of boys from Two Rock were out on a hunting and fishing expedition. The youngest boy, Charley Neilsen, aged fourteen years, was left near the creek for a few minutes and when the others returned he was not there. They called but no response. At last they became alarmed and commenced a search and soon found his body in the creek. The unfortunate boy had drowned. Just how it happened no one will ever know.
Coroner Sawyer went to Tomales and held an inquest, the jury returning a verdict of death from accidental drowning.
