PIO GABRIEL BACCAGLIO, 51, Dies In Novato
Pio Gabriel Boccaglio, 51, member of a prominent pioneer family in Novato, died suddenly at work yesterday from a heart attack.
Manager of the Poultry Producers Association of Novato and recently honored for 25 years service with the organization, Baccaglio was also a member of Novato Grove U.A.O. Druids no. 113. He was born in Novato, attended the local schools and had lived all his life here. He made his home with his wife Florence at 1524 Novato boulevard.
Friends are invited to funeral services 9 a.m. Friday from Keatonís Mortuary in San Rafael and Requiem mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Loretto Church, Novato. Recitation of rosary will be held 8 oíclock tomorrow evening at the mortuary. Interment is at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Surviving him are his wife; his mother Mrs. Fannie Baccaglio; sisters Mrs. Edna Kriel of New Orleans and Mrs. Anita Johnson of Castro Valley; brothers Joseph A. of Sonoma, and Egidio L. and Frank B. Baccaglio both of Novato.
The deceasedís father, the late James Baccaglio, had come to Novato in1885 and had worked on his ranch until his death in 1925.
