Martha C. Waltzer, who lived for 52 years in San Rafael, died yesterday at a local hospital after a short illness. She was 87.
Mrs. Waltzer was born in San Francisco but lived most of her life at 1564 Lincoln Avenue, San Rafael. She worked for ten years as a candy packer for the Harry Moore candy company in San Rafael, retiring about 30 years ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Engvall of Bakersfield; three grandchildren, Barbara LaValley of San Rafael, Barbara Jean Simmonetta of Sebastopol and Lee A. Engvall of Bakersfield, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Williams and Heffernan Mortuary, San Rafael, with burial in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the mother of the late Stasia Harvey and Folmer (Bob) Waltzer.
