Ed. A. Albright Near Death As Result of Crash
Wife Succumbs To Injuries; Lossius to be Charged
Mrs. Sadie Albright, wife of Edward A. Albright, of San Anselmo, who with her husband, was injured last Saturday afternoon when two light trucks crashed on Red Hill Avenue, just over the limits between San Rafael and San Anselmo, died the same day at Cottage Hospital as the result of injuries received.
Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon from the Keaton Mortuary with Rev. Henderson of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was at Mt. Tamalpais cemetery.
Mr. Albright is in a critical condition at the hospital. He is 79 years of age, and is suffering a fractured thigh bone, broken forearm, ribs and head injuries.
William Lossius, also of San Anselmo, is suffering severe injuries. Lossius, according to San Anselmo police, was under the influence of liquor, and driving toward San Rafael on the wrong side of the road. Mr. and Mrs. Albright were going toward San Anselmo. The vehicles crashed with much force head on. Charges will be placed against Lossius when he recovers sufficiently.
Mrs. Albright is a native of Vancouver, Washington, and has been married to Mr. Albright for about 16 years. She is 61 years of age.
Besides the husband she leaves the following sons and daughters by a previous marriage: Oliver Green, Francis Green, Donald Green of San Anselmo; Lynn B. C. Green, Portland, Oregon; Helen Robinson, Tiburon; Mrs. Anna Coffield, Amboy, Washington; Theodore Green, Vancouver, Washington; Mrs. Ruth Nelson, Portland; Michael M. Green, Tacoma, Washington; Miss Mabel Green, Aberdeen, Washington
