Old Resident of Marin Dies At Home Here
Member of Pioneer Family of County Passes Away After Lingering Illness
Mangle Minthorne Tompkins, sixty-three, member of a well known pioneer Marin county family, died this morning at his home at 720 Irwin street after an illness of six months.
The funeral will be held at the Tompkins home on Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will be private.
Mr. Tompkins, who was the son of the late M. M. Tompkins, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beatrice Tompkins; a son, Minthorne Tompkins; three sisters, Mrs. Susan T. Brown, Mrs. Julia T. Carey and Miss Ethel H. Tompkins, and a brother, Philip W. Tompkins.
