LEWIS, Nola Dawn, 64, of San Rafael, passed away November 20, 2002. Keaton's, San Rafael, 415-453-0571.
Nola Dawn Lewis, December 22, 1937~November 20, 2002
Nola passed gracefully and surrounded by love after living bravely with breast cancer for two years. She is survived by her daughter, Serita Basilio-Lewis of Marin County, by her sisters, Shirley LeDuc and Jean Roath of MN and by many circles of loving friends. Nola loved a challenge and worked hard all her life to be the best person that she could be. She loved motherhood, family and friends, writing, singing, art, work and gardening. She was a pioneer and we have all been touched by her strength, humor, wisdom and gentle spirit. Her life was an inspiration to all who knew her and we are all so glad that she was here. Friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Nola's Life on Saturday, December 14th from 2-5 p.m. The Memorial Service will be held at the Institute of Noetic Sciences in Novato, CA. Donations may be made in her honor to the Center for Attitudinal Healing, 33 Buchanan Drive, Sausalito, CA or to the charity of your choosing. KEATON MORTUARY 1022 E Street, San Rafael 415-453-0571
