Death Summons Popular Fred Murray
After an illness lasting about two weeks, Fred Murray died at the family home in this city at an early hour last Wednesday morning following an attack of pneumonia.
His funeral, which was largely attended, took place yesterday from the Odd Fellows’ Hall, under the auspices of that order, of which he was an active and beloved member.
He was the son of Euphemia and the late Adam Murray and the brother of Mrs. R. I. Moore, Mrs. Newell Vanderbilt, William P. and George Murray. He is survived by a wife to whom he was married in this city some ten months ago. He was 32 years old and was born and raised here. He was a member of Marin Lodge #191, F. and A.M.
He was a young man of fine character, and his death has been a heavy blow to many more than those numbered in his family. Every man that knew him liked him and he was widely known in this portion of the county.
