Drowns In Spring At Marshalls
Lucy Sciallo, a two year old daughter of Joseph Sciallo, a fisherman residing near Marshalls, was drowned in a spring near the house at that place last Sunday night. Coroner Sawyer went up Monday morning and held an inquest at the conclusion of which the jury returned a verdict of “death by accidental drowning.” The child had been playing near the house and wandered to a spring on the hillside. There was only about two feet of water but this was sufficient to drown the child when she fell in.
