PIONEER RESIDENT CALLED TO REST
Mrs. Minnie Mulcahy, a former well-known and; highly respected pioneer resident of this city, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Doody, in Tracy, last Tuesday, following a short illness. Mrs. Mulcahy was a woman of the old school, and one who made a friend of all with whom she came in contact. She always looked upon the bright side of life and had a pleasant word for all, and she leaves a large circle of acquaintances who deeply mourn that this good woman has been called from their midst. The remains were brought here Tuesday by her daughter and son-in-law, and the funeral was held Thursday morning from the undertaking parlors of Stephen Eden on Fifth avenue, thence to St. Raphael's Church, where a requiem high mass was celebrated for the repose of her soul. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery. Mrs. Mulcahy is survived by three children, Mrs. Minnie Pothoff, Mrs. Mary Doody and Bert Mulcahy, and was the mother of the late William, Joseph and Agnes Mulcahy.
