Funeral Held In S.A. For Mrs. Henry Frustuck
Private funeral services were held in San Anselmo yesterday for Mrs. Elly F. Frustuck of Fairfax, member of one of Marinís earliest families.
She died Sunday at her home at 3óBolinas avenue after an illness of six months at the age of 75.
Mrs. Frustuck was the widow of the late Henry M. Frustuck, who moved to Fairfax in 1906 from San Francisco, only a few weeks ahead of the great fire which destroyed their house there.
Both natives of Germany, the Frustucks once owned most of what is now downtown Fairfax and Fairfax park. When they arrived in Fairfax, there were only 13 families living there. Frustuck avenue in Fairfax is named after the family.
Mrs. Frustuck is survived by three children, John F. Frustuck, Mrs. Clara Sanborn, and Miss Elsie Frustuck; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Egan; a grandson, Robert Sanborn.
