RICHARD HOTALING Will Filed For Probate
The will of Richard Hotaling, who died last Saturday in San Francisco, was filed for probate the first of the week. The document was drawn 12 days before his death.
Hotaling bequeathed all his property, share and share alike, to George H. Hotaling and Mrs. Jane Hotaling Swinerton, 1904 Franklin street. They are the children of Mrs. Ella K. Hotaling, widow of Anson Hotaling, a brother of Richard, the estate is valued in excess of $1,000,000. Hotaling’s will says:
“My mother, Lavinia J. Hotaling, and my brother, Frederick C. Hotaling, are possessed of amply fortunes adequate for all their needs; considering this fact and in the circumstances and quite regardless have existed between them and me, I have long considered and now believe that the disposition of my fortune herein made is an appropriate one for me to make.”
The hearing on the petition for probate was set for December 2 before Superior Judge Dunne.
Hotaling died following a stroke of paralysis. The Hotaling estate is interested in much property in this county.
