Albert Estate Left to Son And Daughters
The son and daughters of Jacob Albert will receive the major portion of his extensive estate, according to a will filed with County Clerk George S. Jones.
Interest in the firm of Albertís, Inc., was left to Harry Albert who has been general manager of the San Rafael department store for several years.
The family home on Marinita Drive, San Rafael, becomes the property of his daughter, Alice Marcus, along with fixtures and furnishings. Remainder of the estate will be divided between Harry, Mrs. Marcus and Mrs. Bertha Grossman, a daughter who resides in Napa.
The final will was filed November 8, 1944, records show. Previous bequests to several charities incorporated in previous documents were invalidated when Mr. Albert decided to make bequests during his lifetime. His son will take care of others later in accord to his fatherís wishes.
Harry Albert was named executor of the estate.
