B. G. Morse Will Filed for Probate
The will of the late Benjamin G. Morse of Bolinas, who died recently in San Francisco, was filed for probate this morning.
By the terms of the will the stepson, W. W. McKenna, is bequeathed the greater portion of the comfortable fortune which deceased had amassed in his lifetime. The bequest provides that McKenna receive 100 shares of preferred stock of the California Packing Corporation, 20 shares of Southern Pacific stock, 20 shares of Spring Valley Water Company stock and $1,000 in cash.
To Lizzie L. Girdler, a cousin in Massachusetts, is given $1,000, and to Lydia and Sarah Girdler, of the same place, the deceased willed $500 each. Two thousand dollars is left in trust for the Presbyterian Orphanage at San Anselmo, and this institution is to receive equal shares with the Infants Shelter and Children’s Hospital and the Young Women’s Christian Association in San Francisco in personal property, comprising money in bank, a $2,000 promissory note, 80 head of stock and one half the ranch crops. The will was made November 25, 1916.
