State Will Receive Entire Estate of Sausalito Man
Because no heirs of the late Henry Otto Adams of Sausalito have been found, his entire estate, valued at $10,641.63, will be turned over to the State of California.
The amount will be a part of the semi-annual accounting of the county of Marin with the State of California, which County Treasurer Charles Redding will turn over to the state treasurer tomorrow at Sacramento.
Inheritance taxes on seven estates amounting to $1233.35 will also be paid to the state at the same time. The largest tax is for the estate of the late Charles Musante of San Rafael in the amount of $287.77.
County Treasurer Redding will also pay to the state for the support of Marin residents at state homes the following: Sonoma state home, $1820, and Preston School of Industry, $408.39.
The total to be paid to the state is $14,103.37.
