Livermore Estate Nearly $1 Million
The late Norman B. Livermore, Marin County industrialist, left an estate valued at slightly less than one million dollars.
Figures were disclosed yesterday in Marin Superior Court when executors of the estate petitioned for the first and final accounting for settlement and distribution of the assets.
Livermore died Dec. 27, 1953, leaving one half of his estate to his wife, Caroline Sealy Livermore, and the other half to be divided equally between his five sons, Norman Jr., George S., John S., Horatio P. and Robert Livermore.
The petition for settlement and final distribution shows that the estate is appraised at $923,141.92, with inheritance tax of $12,483.86 due.
The executors of the estate are represented by the San Francisco legal firm of Chickering and Gregory. Deputies at the Marin County clerk’s office said that the petition for settlement and distribution will get final court decision within the next several weeks.
