Ill only a short time with pneumonia, Samuel Harrison SILVER, 51, fur
merchant living at 1120 N Yosemite, died Saturday in the University of CA
Hospital at SF.

SILVER had lived in Stockton most of the past 30 years and before entering
the fur business three years ago was an insurance agent here in San
Farncisco. He was a member of the Hope Lodge, B'nai B'rith and a local
chairman of the Jewish National Welfare Fund.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs Minne Silver; a daughter, Mrs Dave Sherman,
Stockton; a sister, Mrs Morris Berg, Stockton; his fater (sic) Soloman H
Silver, Stockton, and three brothers, Louis Silver, Stockton; Ben Silver,
Sacramento, and Al Silver, San Francisco.
Funeral services were conducted this after in Frisbie & Warren Chapel.

SILVER, In San Francisco, Nov 13, 1943, Samuel H SILVER, beloved husband of
Minnie Silver of Stockton; brother of ..... (same as other).. a native of
Baltimore, MD, age 51 yrs, 8 mos, 21 days.
Buried in French Camp Jewish Cemetery.
