GALLET--A man named John B. GALLET, known as 'Squealing Jack,' committed suicide at St. Mary's Hospital by cutting his throat. He went to a window, smashed a pane of glass, and taking one of the fragments inflicted the wound, of which he died in a few minutes. He was laboring under a fit of delirium tremens at the time.
