EXHUMED.—The Commercial Advertiser says that a party of laborers engaged in grading a lot on the corner of Third and Market streets, Wednesday, discovered three large boxes, which on being opened, revealed the remains of as many human beings, and all in a fair state of preservation. There was a private hospital in this locality in 1849 and ’49, and a number of patients having died, their bodies were interred on the premises. Two of them were Americans, and the other a Portuguese sailor. Coroner Whaling took charge of the bodies and had them buried in Yerba Buena Cemetery.
